The mission of Candy’s Coats For Kids, Inc. is to reach out to families and individuals in need by providing essential necessities to help keep them ward, fed, educated and most importantly to help make them feel like worthy human beings.

Candy’s Coats for Kids is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization, incorporated in May 2005 and founded by Doreen Willis.

Since our inception, we have distributed over 2500 coats and approximately 7,000 hats, gloves and scarves  to children in various communities  throughout the Northwest Suburbs, Chicago, Aurora, Dixon, Burlington WS and Scott County, MN.  We are  also blessed to partner with other not-for- profit organizations to help ensure the needs of their clients are  met.

Although we are very proud of our accomplishments, we still have a lot of work to do.  Due to the many changes in our economy, more individuals will be in need and prayerfully with your support, we can continue  to work together to help keep our children warm.

Our goal this year is to raise over $25,000 and hopefully double the number of children we were able to help last year.  We would also like to purchase winter boots for the children to ensure they are protected from head to toe.
